Toyota has revealed its own hotted-up version of the reborn GR Supra sports car, with the Performance Line concept likely previewing a set of factory accessories that will be offered at dealerships. Conceived by the Japanese brandu2019s TRD performance sub-brand, the show car features several exterior parts, most of which are made from lightweight carbon-fibre. These include a front splitter with side fins that increase downforce and reduce lift alongside side skirt extensions, rear spats and a bootlid-mounted ducktail spoiler. A bolt-on side garnish adds more visual flair but also improves aerodynamics by smoothing airflow to the rear end. Finally, a set of lightweight 19-inch forged aluminium wheels feature a multi-double-spoke design and are finished in black and wrapped in Michelin tyres. While no upgrades to the Suprau2019s engines u2013 including the 250kW/500Nm 3.0-litre turbo-petrol in-line six-cylinder unit headed for Australia u2013 have been detailed, TRD said more parts are coming soon.
